Setec has donated to SEA - Emergency Service for Elderly of Borgaro Torinese, a new uniform for all the associations' volunteers. The SEA Borgaro is a non-profit voluntary association that responds autonomously to suit local requirements and needs of the elderly, providing free services of accompanying and home care. All SEA's volunteers are at the service of those who are in difficulties because without its own transportation means, and need to reach hospitals, doctors, relatives and friends or gathering places for social and cultural activities.

We have been able to participate to the automation event of the year which brought good, targeted contacts and really interested. During the days we assisted to a crossroads of people in search of a product to distribute in their country, or a comparison in between competitors to analyze the trends of the market, or only a visit from a regular supplier who wanted to say hello and enjoy a cup of a nice Italian coffee.

In collabration with Polytechnic of Torino, we realized a flight simulator able to create conditions and stresses of pitch and roll as faithful as possible to reality. Alternatively to the simulators made with the use of pneumatic actuators, Setec has used its electric actuators ISOMOVE, complete with brushless motors, and this solution has confirmed all the advantages envisaged such responsiveness to the commands set, the high acceleration values possible and the absolute lack of those phenomena of "springing" which were present in the pneumatic solution.

More and more big cities are adopting new solutions for the parking areas in order to give high efficiency to the services, improving level of security in underground parkings and reducing gas exhaust from the cars. This aims to the development of automated parkings which handle and move cars without drivers. In this specific case, Setec took care of a project with a major Turin hospital for a lifting system for vehicles which had been studied with 4 ballscrew screw jacks SEL 50 S VT and travelling screw.
