WARNER ELECTRIC MULTI DISC CLUTCHES
Warner electric multi disc clutches connecte/disconnect the movement between two shafts or between pulleys/gears. Normally they operate in lubricated environments (oil bath), they can have electrical supply, pneumatic, or hydraulic, even with negative function.
They can transmit higher torques having the same external diameter compared to the classical single disc clutch.
The standard range, according to the different power supplies, has the following torque values:
- from 10 to 3200 Nm with electrical drive
- from 100 to 12800 Nm with pneumatic drive
- from 100 to 51200 Nm with hydraulic drive.
It is possible to supply also special clutches, especially in the field of big speed gearboxes ( metallurgic, marine, etc…).
